Our Pet Peace of Mind® program helps families stay together. Since 1979 we have been caring for patients and their loved ones, and of course for many, these loved ones include beloved pets. Your Pet Calendar purchase enables us to offer specially-trained volunteers to provide pet walking, transportation and foster care. It will help purchase pet food and cat litter, provide routine veterinary care and grooming, and perhaps most importantly, allow us to find a “forever” home when there is no one to keep a pet after the patient’s death.
The 2016 Hospice Savannah Pet Calendars can be purchased for a $15 minimum donation to the Pet Peace of Mind® program. They are available during regular business hours from the reception desk at Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU), 1329 Eisenhower Drive and from the reception desk of Hospice Savannah’s administrative offices at 1674 Chatham Parkway. They will also be available at Case Veterinary Hospital, 111 Eisenhower Drive.
For more information on donating to or volunteering for the program, please contact Christy Fulcher at 912.355.2289. Volunteers are especially needed in Bryan, Liberty, Long and Effingham counties.
