As our mission states, we provide “the best services and resources on living with a life-limiting illness, dying, death, grief and loss.” One way we do that is by providing world renowned speakers to speak to the medical and non-medical community during our annual Lecture Series.
Join me next week for our 5th Annual Hospice Savannah Lecture Series as we bring esteemed ethicist Dr. Jonathon Crane to Savannah. There will be a complimentary luncheon and lecture at the Jewish Education Alliance on Friday, January 25th at 12 noon. An ordained rabbi, Dr. Crane currently teaches at Emory University’s Center for Ethics and will speak to us about the dilemmas caregivers face when withdrawing nutrition or hydration. To RSVP for “The Meaning of Life, ” simply RSVP by email (jespina@HospiceSavannah.org)or by phone 912.629.1095.
I am grateful to our Lecture Series sponsors and to the law firm of Bart, Meyer & Company, LLC for underwriting this particular talk.
