This week I am especially grateful for our wonderful community donors and supporters…
…The Skidaway Island Baptist Church fitness group, taught by Hospice Savannah volunteer and trainer Patti Iott (kneeling), generously donated $2,145 towards our Demere Center for Living recently.
…Supporter Beth Kinstler, of Avalon Antiques, will hold a vintage linen and jewelry sale (with mimosas!) at her home, 12 East 50th Street, on Sunday, December 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. RSVP avalonant@aol.com or call 238.1211. 25% of proceeds benefit Hospice Savannah.
…Our Homecare/Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU) chaplain Jeff Hartman will read from “Patterns of Light,” his self-published book of inspirational poetry, on Thursday, December 11 at 3:30 p.m. Light refreshment will be provided and his books will be on sale for $15 with $5 benefiting our Daily Impact Fund.
And finally, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up! Did you know that when you do your Holiday shopping at AmazonSmile, Amazon donates 0.5% of the purchase price to Hospice Savannah Inc.? Bookmark the link and support us every time you shop!
I wish you and yours a blessed and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving!
