I’m wishing each and everyone a fun-filled but safe holiday weekend. Although it is a time to celebrate the freedom we have as Americans, it is also a time to reflect on the past. Take a moment to realize what you really have and maybe even thank a veteran for their service to our country.
A great group of kids from the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church volunteered their time to help make 4th of July themed wreaths to decorate the patients’ doors at Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU). These wreaths stand as a reminder of what this holiday really means: to celebrate and reflect.
