I would like to extend a huge thank you to members of the Junior League of Savannah who spent their Saturday morning outfitting and beautifying our children’s room at Hospice Inpatient Unit (HIPU) as part of their Done in a Day projects. The Done in a Day Committee completes one-day service projects for a variety of non-profit community agencies that fall within the League’s current focus area of women and children’s advocacy.
Through a generous grant of $1500 the League provided shelving, a myriad of toys and board games and a flat screen TV. We are certain that the many children who are encouraged to come to visit their loved ones will thoroughly enjoy the room.
